On this episode of Rooted Recovery Stories Patrick sit’s down with decorative painter James Mobley and has an incredible conversation about his past and present with multiple years of sobriety between the two. James opens up about his past usage, his friends much appreciated intervention for him, the healing journey he has been on, and so much more!
About James: James has been described as a renaissance man: artist, designer and classical musician. For him, one influences the other. A room designed with the same thought and balance of a painting. A mural executed with the intention of a romantic symphony creating a sense of place and mood. Always with the person who enters in mind. When walking into a room, a person should be transported to somewhere serene. James has an innate ability to achieve this with color and texture.
Born in the Midwest, James has designed and painted in Chicago, Scottsdale, New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles where he currently resides. Notable clients have been Nate Berkus, Jeremiah Brent and Alessandra Branca.
