Professional Resources for Promises Clients

Promises Treatment Centers helps clients from all over the country. For those clients who are not currently working with a clinical professional in their area, we often look for appropriate referrals in their home town. By supplying information about your practice you can become a resource in your area. A regional outreach director will contact you to discuss further the types of clients you work with so we can best match our clients with the appropriate professional.

Referring Clients to Promises Treatment Centers

Many professionals refer clients to Promises Treatment Centers because they have confidence in our rigorous clinical program and because we are true to our promise to maintain communication when the client requests we work with the professional in their home area.

Our referring professionals regularly tell us that our intake team is the best in the field. Our Clinical Admissions Director, Patricia Meyers, and our Administrative Admissions Director, Hadas Zies, will guide you and your client through the admissions process with what we like to call our concierge class of service. Because Promises is an intimate facility with never more than 24 primary-care clients in Malibu and 18 in West Los Angeles, we are able to provide unparalleled service and communication to our referring professionals.

Intake Assessment

We work with both the referring professional and the client to do a thorough intake assessment to ensure Promises is the right clinical match for your client. This also allows us to put in place any specialized services your client might require due to specific clinical issues. If for any reason Promises is not appropriate for your client, the intake team will guide you in finding the right match for your client.

Regional Outreach Directors

Promises has a phenomenal team of outreach directors led by Keith Arnold. Outreach Directors can serve as a liaison during the admissions process, throughout the treatment period, and for the transition back to your practice. Getting the Client to Promises

Promises’ goes above and beyond other treatment centers in helping clients get to treatment. We often meet our clients at the airport to bring them to the Malibu or West Los Angeles campuses. In cases where the client is struggling with the decision or where an intervention was necessary, our Clinical Admissions Director has even flown to the client’s location to help them feel safe in getting to treatment.

Communication During Treatment

Promises offers world-class addiction treatment for its clients, and part of that treatment is effective and meaningful communication with the referring professional. Our promise to you is that if your client admits to treatment and gives us permission to communicate with the professional, we will:

• Call you within 24 hours of admission to let you know your client has arrived
• A therapist or psychiatrist will call you each week to update you on their progress
• Provide a discharge plan within 4 weeks after discharge
