The Promises Professionals Treatment Program (PTP) is designed to provide compassionate assistance to health care professionals and their families who are dealing with problems that might result in their impairment during practice or business.

The PTP program is designed to address the specific issues that arise for certain types of professionals, including:

• Physicians
• Health Care Professionals
• Attorneys and Other Licensed Professionals

We focus not only on issues related to inappropriate use of alcohol or drugs, but also other self-defeating addictive behaviors that are problematic for the professional.

Our treatment team is accustomed to and experienced in caring for professionals and high-profile personalities.

The Program

Promises’ Professionals Treatment Program is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment process tailored to meet the individual needs of the professional and his or her family.

We believe in the importance of professionals maintaining and improving their own health, wellness, and recovery as well as addressing behavioral health issues.

What to Expect

Upon arrival at Promises, an intensive four-day assessment and evaluation begins. This is a medically supervised diagnostic process that includes forensic investigation to develop a highly effective and individualized treatment plan.

In cases where the professional has been asked by their licensing board or agency to undertake treatment, the treatment team at Promises will convey to the licensing agency what recommendations have been made and will complete any documentation required by the agency. Promises can continue to follow ongoing recovery if the licensing board requires this.

Our on-site team of psychologists, family therapists, skilled nurses, spiritual advisors, and other specialists is supported by a team of independent, affiliated Internal Medicine Physicians, Psychiatrists, and Addiction Medicine Physicians who all participate in the planning and progression of treatment.
